the audition for biz pageant was funny, haha.. the self introduction was rather side tracked at the end of it. i reached there abt 30mins late and was led to a mini lecture hall with a PANEL of interviewers/ judges. omg.. i dint noe its so offical that they reali need to screen out contestants - totally unlike NP days when im selected to join the pageant and b4 i reali knew what to do, i was alreadi at the stage doing my own stunts. haha. someone led mi to the spot where all lecturers will stand. and heres the interview:
the-one-who-lead-mi-in: give a brief introduction of urself, u can use the mic on the table.
mi: har? hmm... self- intro? okie.. (i took the mic and put it down again) i think u all can hear mi right?
panel: ya.
mi: okie, im 22 this year and why this old age? coz, i graduated from NP.
the-one-who-lead-mi-in: u need to say ur name.
mi: ohh ya, im jolene - Lim Yi Lian. (silence from the panel - haha, maybe too song.)
*dunno wat to say*
panel: tell us abt ur interests.
mi: hmm, i read, my fave author is jodi picoult and her books are mainly on law cases and family issues. i find it quite nice.

panel: wat other interests do u have?
mi: har? i do everything that u all do ya.. like cafe session, movie, shopping, eating. (-_-)
*the one who asked the qn seemed to know that he asked a silly qn - coz rest started laffing*
panel: do u do sports?
mi: hmm.. i onli know badminton ya - although its abit old fashion, but it makes mi sweat more than jogging.
panel: besides badminton, wat else?
mi: mi dun mind sun tanning and volley ball - but surely not a pro.
panel: wat other commitments do u have?
mi: like?
panel: like part time job or tuition?
mi: yap, i have 6 tuition kids.
*panel wow-ed*
mi: yap, the oldest is pri 4 and most of them have two sessions with mi.
panel: theres alot of time taken, willu be able to handle our training for the contest - 5times a week, mostly after sch and during weekends?
mi: im gd at time management and b4 i started sch, i was working and giving tuition at the same time.
*panel wow-ed again*
mi: but i will be away on tues till thurs for holiday.
panel: the training starts next friday, so we can still call u on thurs night to confirm the stuff?
mi: ya..hp on auto roam.
panel: can i ask u - DO U HAVE A BF?
mi: ya. been tgt for quite awhile. i knew him since pri one - 7yrs old.
*panel started to be abit rowdy*
background: wow, qing mei zu ma!!
mi: hmm.. no no, we knew each other since pri one but we are not tgt since pri one.
*panel somehow not listening to mi - they got high on the qing mei zu ma thingy..-_-*
panel: will ur bf mind coz we will have photo shooting that may require u to be close to the other parnter?
mi: we know each other well enuff ya.
*panel still cant get over the qing mei zu ma stuff - -_-*
interrupter: is ur bf in NUS?
mi: no, hes taking degree in mkting somewhere.
panel: can we see him? (super excited sia)
mi: har... reali? u all reali wan to see him? -_-
panel: ya.. must see qing mei zu ma bf.
mi: okie... hes outside. i asked him in.
panel: okie.. now take a shot first and take ur bf in.
(i smiled and i wondered if that pic look nice.. arrgh)
i walked out and took ver in. and everyone was like studying him lidat. haha..
mi: hes my bf.
panel: ohh..okie.
*giggle+laff*
panel: when r u getting married?
mi: 29 perhaps.
panel: why 29?
mi: get a baby b4 becoming a gao lin chan fu.
*giggle more*

ver returned a smile - i guess he has no idea of whats gng on - LOST.
said bye and left the hall.
funny interview.
and amazing enuff - i remembered everything. =)
